Mt. Vernon, Ohio – The United Controls Group announces acquisition of the CleanBurn III product line from Rolls-Royce Energy Systems, Inc. The sale includes materials inventory, spare parts, engineering drawings, software, and test/simulation equipment. “The CleanBurn III systems are now supported on a higher level than in recent years. UCG Develops Allen-Bradley Based CleanBurn III Replacement
Mt. Vernon, Ohio – The United Controls Group announces development of the CleanBurn Retrofit (CBR) system for Superior engines. Co-developed by Cameron Compression Systems, the CBR leverages the latest Allen-Bradley control system technology. “The new system is far superior to the antiquated systems currently available for these engines. Operators can expect to benefit from the use of modern Allen-Bradley control system hardware, Ethernet connectivity, advanced diagnostic features, and OEM algorithms.”, says Brian Savinsky, Sr. Systems Engineer with the United Controls Group.The CleanBurn IIIR system is scheduled for testing and system retrofits in early 2008.
UCG Agreement with PanHandle Energy and Project Success.
Mt. Vernon, Ohio – The United Controls Group announces a general services agreement with Florida Gas Transmission, part of the PanHandle Energy companies. This agreement marks a closer working relationship with PanHandle Energy. Regarding a recent controls upgrade, FGT reports, “The engine and station control systems are operating at 100% availability.... we’ve had ZERO control system downtime”.
